Fly - a novel
Life can change in the blink of an eye. Peter Sparks stands on the top deck of the Sea Streak ferry late one afternoon wondering how one little screw up on Friday could end up with a Monday like this? Out of work, running away from his life and his fiancée on Manhattan’s Upper East Side to his old home on the Jersey Shore. Deep down, he hopes his drunken, screw-up of an older brother can help him figure things out. They’ve been all each other has since their father died in a car crash with his mistress many Christmases ago. Their personal sanity is tested when their mother decides to return after 13 years in self-imposed Floridian exile to save her youngest son.
